John Daly is one of the most colourful characters in the modern game. He won the Open Championship in dramatic fashion at St Andrews in 1995. Who can forget the monster putt by Constentina Rocca up "the Valley of Sin" on the 18th to force a play off.

Daly enjoyed further success at St Andrews in the Dunhill Cup whilst representing the USA. He was one of the most popular winners of modern times. This image shows John in the familiar pose kissing the famous Claret Jug following the presentation.
